Case studies
Anonymized numbers from real B2B industrial distributor engagements: revenue, indexed pages, AI-citation visibility, AOV, Core Web Vitals.
Why we anonymize some studies (Pre-emptive claim, Hopkins style)
A note on confidentiality
Most of our clients sit in competitive B2B niches where their organic traffic data is a real strategic asset. We don't publish their brand name with the numbers because publishing it would tell their competitors exactly which categories to attack.
When you book a call, we'll share the full case study with the brand name, the on-the-record introduction, and (with the client's permission) a 15 to 30 minute reference call with the buyer who hired us. That's how we earn trust at the contract stage. The anonymized public version below is the appetizer.
CASE STUDY 1 - Industrial fasteners distributor, Shopify Plus, EU + UK
The buyer profile
Mid-market industrial fasteners distributor selling carbon steel, stainless and specialty fasteners (M2 to M48, imperial sizes, specialty grades 8.8 / 10.9 / 12.9, A2 / A4 / 316L stainless) into manufacturing plants, mechanical engineering firms and OEMs across the EU and UK. Catalog: 14,200 SKUs across 280 product lines. Platform: Shopify Plus. Annual online revenue at engagement start: roughly โฌ4.6M.
The problem when we arrived
- Organic revenue had dropped 38% in 12 months
- Faceted navigation was generating 47,000 indexable parameter URLs that were burning crawl budget
- The recent platform migration had broken canonical tags on 4,200 product pages
- Cross-reference pages (replacement-for-X searches) did not exist
- Product schema was missing
Brand, availability, andaggregateRatingon the entire catalog - Zero AI-search citation infrastructure
- Previous SEO agency was shipping 4 blog posts a month about "history of fasteners" with no commercial intent
What we did, month by month
- Months 1 to 2: technical audit shipped. Faceted nav rebuilt with proper parameter handling. Canonical tags re-instated across 4,200 product pages. Product schema rebuilt across the full catalog with
Brand,Manufacturer,aggregateRating,Offer.availability,gtin13where available. - Months 3 to 5: cross-reference page architecture built. 1,400 cross-reference pages shipped. Category pages rewritten with buying-guide intros, comparison tables and FAQ schema. Internal linking architecture rebuilt to push authority into the long-tail SKU pages.
- Months 4 to 7: GEO engineering. llms.txt deployed. Entity SEO rebuild across LinkedIn, Crunchbase, trade-press placements. Citation tracking deployed across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
- Months 6 to 11: continuous content production at 6 to 8 pieces per month, focused on commercial-intent application guides and "X vs Y" comparison content. Trade-press digital PR ran in parallel for entity reinforcement.
Outcomes (Month 11)
- Organic revenue: โฌ38,200 / month โ โฌ276,400 / month (+624%)
- Indexed SKU pages: 1,840 โ 11,470
- Cross-reference page traffic: 0 โ 19,800 sessions / month
- Organic AOV: +24%

CASE STUDY 2 - Safety & PPE distributor, Magento, regional EU
The buyer profile
Regional safety, PPE and workwear distributor selling hard hats, safety glasses, FR-rated workwear, fall protection, gloves, respirators and lab coats into industrial plants, construction firms and food processors. Catalog: 9,800 SKUs across 110 product lines. Platform: Magento (Adobe Commerce). Annual online revenue at engagement start: roughly โฌ3.1M.
The problem when we arrived
- Organic-attributed quote requests had dropped from 84 / month to 31 / month
- Recent platform redesign had stripped ANSI / OSHA / ASTM / EN compliance content out of category pages for visual cleanliness
- Faceted navigation generating 41,000 indexable thin filter URLs
- Product schema missing
Brand, aggregateRating,Offer.availability - Compliance documentation buried inside PDFs, not surfaced in HTML
- Zero GEO infrastructure
- Application-led category pages did not exist (only product-type pages)
What we did
- Compliance content reinstated across all 110 product lines, in a way that respected the redesign's visual cleanliness (collapsible spec blocks, structured comparison tables)
- Faceted navigation rebuilt with parameter rules
- Product schema rebuilt across the full catalog with certification and standard fields
- Compliance content extracted from PDFs and republished as HTML pages with
MedicalDeviceandStandardschema where applicable - 24 new application-led category pages shipped (e.g., "FR-rated workwear for NFPA 70E arc-flash environments")
- llms.txt deployed, entity SEO rebuild, citation tracking deployed

- Organic-attributed revenue: +94% in 5 months
- Money-back guarantee invoked: no. Client renewed for 36 months.
What the client said
"I'd worked with two US agencies and a London boutique. None of them understood PPE. Lobit walked in knowing the difference between ANSI Z89.1 Type I and Type II, knew what punch-out catalog support looks like, and put a guarantee in writing. That's why we hired them. The results validated the hire." - VP Marketing
CASE STUDY 3 - Industrial equipment ecommerce, BigCommerce, EU
The buyer profile
Mid-market industrial equipment distributor selling pumps, motors, drives, sensors, fluid power components and industrial control gear into OEMs, system integrators and maintenance teams across the EU. Catalog: 28,000 SKUs. Platform: BigCommerce. Annual online revenue at engagement start: roughly โฌ7.2M.
The problem
- Page 1 commercial-intent keyword count had stagnated at 39 for over a year
- Core Web Vitals on the 28,000-product PLP were poor (LCP 4.8s, CLS 0.34)
- Faceted navigation generating ~85,000 indexable parameter URLs
- Product schema was generic, with no
Brand,Manufacturer,aggregateRating,Offer.availability - No GEO infrastructure
- Internal linking dumped 100% of authority into the homepage and ignored the SKU pages
What we did
- Core Web Vitals rebuild on the PLP: image lazy-loading, server-side rendering for product tiles, font subset optimization, JavaScript bundle splitting
- Faceted navigation rebuilt with parameter handling rules
- Product schema rebuilt across the full catalog
- Internal linking architecture rebuilt to push authority into SKU pages via category and cross-reference pages
- 60+ category page rewrites with buying guides and comparison tables
- GEO engineering deployed across the catalog and the content library
- Entity SEO rebuild across trade press, LinkedIn, Crunchbase
Outcomes (Month 9)
- Page 1 commercial-intent keywords: 39 โ 612
- LCP on PLP: 4.8s โ 1.6s. CLS: 0.34 โ 0.04
- Organic AOV: +24%
- Organic-attributed revenue: +118% in 9 months
- AI-citation count: 0 โ 76 mentions / month
What the client said
"The audit alone was worth the retainer. Twelve months in, we are quoting in conversations with prospects who literally found us inside a ChatGPT answer. That channel didn't exist last year." - Ecommerce Director
How we will share the full versions with you
On a call we can show you:
- The brand name, the on-the-record introduction
- The live Looker Studio dashboard with the actual revenue and citation curves
- A 15 to 30 minute reference call with the buyer who hired us, with their permission
That's the standard. Most agencies don't offer references this generously because their case studies fall apart on the call. Ours don't.
CTA + P.S.
Two ways to start
1. Book a 30-minute call to see the full case study versions โ 2. Order a one-time audit (โฌ1,500 to โฌ4,500) โ
P.S.
P.S. - If you've worked with agencies whose case studies were "we increased traffic" with no number attached, you already know how rare it is for an agency to publish revenue and AI-citation numbers in writing. The reason we can publish ours is that we are accountable for them. [Book the call โ]
